About this Blog

Welcome to the Syngenta Seeds Agronomist blog, The Dirt on Seeds!

Syngenta prides itself on the relationships that we as agronomists have created with growers, farm managers, and crop consultants all across the country. We hope this new blog will help strengthen and improve those relationships. We’d like The Dirt on Seeds to serve as a two-way communication channel where we can share our knowledge, while also gaining a better understanding of the practical agronomic challenges you face day in and day out. We want this blog to be a platform for dialogue. We look forward to reading and responding to your thoughts, questions and ideas in each post.

In addition, we’ve designing this blog to provide local insights that are relevant to you and your region. Our posts will cover Arkansas, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia.

We’ll be tracking crop progress, scouting for pests, sharing information on soil conditions, and providing updates from Syngenta and industry events, and much more. Ultimately, we want this blog to serve as a resource to help you maximize crop yield while minimizing costs. We’ll be here to give you The Dirt on Seeds!
